This is one of the most underrated war movies in all times. The movie is rarely mentioned by fans of the genre mainly because most of them haven`t seen this classic John Houston movie. The movie is in the same league as All quiet on the western front and Kubrick`s Paths of Glory. Almost half a century after its made the movie remains a powerful tale of redemption.
