Das Boot (1981)

This is a story about U-boat crew out at sea doing their best to serve their country and if possible to stay alive during the process.

One if not the best submarine war movies ever made. It is a masterpiece directed by Wolfgang Petersen. The movie was nominated for 6 oscars and won many film awards around the film festivals around the world. It is one of the few movies equally appreciated by the critics as well as the wide audience.
