War films and film in general don't come along that often. The English patient is one of those movies. The movie is beautifully shot, full of history lessons and well-acted; all the features of a great movie. The English Patient was awarded the Oscar for best picture of 1996, among other awards.

Very good movie, great performance by Richard Burton, he is incredible as always. Fans of classic war movies will have a great time while watching this classic.
