Antonio Banderas is a Musslim schoolar from Baghdad sent on a diplomatic mission to the north. During his trip to the north he is captured by a group of Vikings who see in him the 13th warrior needed for their mission as told by their witch prophet. The Arab sees a world and traditions that he encounters for the first time. It is a completely new world much different than the one he is oust to. All in all a great adventure movie, with plenty of fighting scenes and well-built characters.
