This is a low budget war movie from which one should not expect too much. Even though the game company of heroes is ranked as a cult game and as such enjoys high reputation the movie doesn't even come close to that. If the movie was released in 2012 it would definitely be on the worst war movie of 2012 list. Yep, that bad, despite the decent acting crew featuring proven actors such as Tom Sizemore (Black Hawk Down) and Neal McDonough (Flags of Our Fathers). On the other hand the movie is made for the sole purpose of bringing the characters of the company of heroes game to the big screen. The fans of the game are the ones that will like this movie the most. Others, not so much!
