Jamie Shannon and his team of mercenaries are sent to the fictional African Republic of Zangaro on a reconnaissance job by a large mining company that wants to see if the country's leadership is weak enough to be overthrown. After the arrival, the authorities become suspicious of Shannon and he is thrown in jail and tortured.
