This is a Paul Verhoeven describing humans in a militaristic, almost fascistic society in which men wage war against beleive or not giant bugs. Something that probably only a director as such Paul Verhoeven could think of. This war satire movie is fun and entertaining only for small group of people. Most of the war movie fans find it not so interesting in almost any way.
