The Wild Geese (1978)

Based on the novel The Thin White Line by Daniel Carney which in turn is based on rumors that a plain full of mercenaries and a dying "African President" landed in Rhodesia. Veteran Col. Allan Faulkner leads a team of mercenaries on a mission to rescue Julius Limbani, overthrown President of an African country, who is to be executed by his generals.
