This is the movie that inspired Kubrick to make his famous Full metal jacket. In some way this is the generation that served before pvt. Joker and his brothers in arms. The boys in company c are interested only in one thing. That is to survive the war anyway they can. This is one of the first Vietnam war movies made in America. All in all pretty good movie, if you liked the jacket you will like this movie as well.
