Stalag 17 is a German POW camp exclusively populated by American sergeants. When two of them try to escape, they fall right in to a trap and are brutally shot by the guards. The rest of the prisoners immediately realize that there is a traitor among their number, and the prime suspect is the camps black marketeer Sefton.
