The Alamo (1960)

In the height of the Texas War of Independence, while Mexican forces under the leadership of General Santa Anna are sweeping through Texas, a small group of Texans take the final stand in an old Catholic Mission and fortress compound near San Antonio. Led by Lieutenant Colonel William Travis and Davy Crockett they have to withstand the siege of the heavily larger Mexican force until reinforcement arrives.
